Hey I have been on the lookout for the source for Giant Steve and I think I found it. It was in Minecraft Java Edition. The location of the file Giant Steve.dcm was in the data folder. I uploaded the file to the cloud and I could still download it. I was in the bedrock edition version of Minecraft so the file was not in the normal data folder.

So then I noticed the Donkey metadata that was in the datamining section. That's how I figured out that there was a file in the data folder named Giant Steve.dcm. It is a 2MB DCM file and it was added in 1.14.2. I believe. This Giant Steve file is the one that I was looking for. It looks like it was added in 1.1.4.3. This is a giant file and it does contain the village of Giant Steve along with the Hollow eye sockets and destroyed village.

So you guys have seen a few of the recent updates to Minecraft including the Minecraft Dungeons. This has got me thinking and it got me talking to my buddy HaI and he informed me of a place called GameBanana.com and they had a request for players to make a mod for the Minecraft Java Edition and that's when I learned about the Screenshot Mod Creator Program by GameBanana. It says that the Minecraft Screenshot Mod Creator Program's main goal is to add to the Minecraft community by enabling players to create mods that add beautiful new environments to play in as well as the ability to showcase their work in a gallery for others to see. GameBanana.com created the Screenshot Mod Creator Program to help Minecraft modders share their work online.

It's now time for us to talk about the mod I made. I made it because a great fan of mine got me hooked on Minecraft and it's pretty sad that he's gone. I'm pretty sure he made it in Java 1.10 Forge Edition. He had made a town and I was impressed with how it looked like and I decided to duplicate what he had done. d2c66b5586
